Ingredients:

For Sloppy Joe Filling:

1 pound ground beef

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 bell pepper, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup tomato sauce

1/4 cup ketchup

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Salt and pepper to taste

For Burritos:

Large flour tortillas

Cooked white rice

Shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)

Sour cream

Chopped fresh cilantro

Salsa

Instructions:

Sloppy Joe Filling:

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.

Add chopped onions, bell peppers, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are softened.

Stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Simmer the mixture for about 10-15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the sauce to thicken.

Adjust seasoning to taste and keep the Sloppy Joe filling warm.

Assembling Burritos:

Place a large flour tortilla on a flat surface.

Spoon a portion of cooked white rice onto the center of the tortilla.

Add a generous amount of the Sloppy Joe filling on top of the rice.

Sprinkle shredded cheese over the filling.

Add a dollop of sour cream and sprinkle fresh cilantro on top.

Optionally, spoon salsa over the filling for an extra kick.

Rolling and Grilling:

Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling and then roll it up from the bottom to create a burrito.

Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium heat.

Place the burritos seam-side down on the hot grill pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until the tortilla is golden brown and crispy.

Remove from the heat and let them rest for a minute before serving.

Serving:

Slice the burritos in half diagonally.

Serve with additional salsa, sour cream, or your favorite toppings.

Enjoy your delicious Sloppy Joe Grilled Burritos!
