Cheeseburger Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can (10.75 oz) condensed tomato soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups cooked macaroni pasta
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted

Directions:




  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). 🌡️
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in garlic powder, salt, pepper, condensed tomato soup, and milk. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in 1 1/2 cups of cheddar cheese and the cooked macaroni.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese on top.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together bread crumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle this over the cheese layer.
